None of us will ever forget that morning.
I had no personal connection to anyone directly involved, but the events of September 11, 2001, affected me deeply.
I have written about it before and have no more to say about that day. But it saddens me that we are still losing many American lives every day because we're unable or unwilling to do what needs to be done to bring the Covid pandemic under control.
My takeaway remains the same:
Blessings upon those who act with courage and generosity when the times demand it. May we all be among them.
I three thousand miles away but remember sitting in horror, listening to the radio as events unfolded.
