Radcliffe's Top 100 Novels List (DR and TBR)

Long ago in what seems like another lifetime, I won a bet for my boss by having read more books on this list than anyone else in the office. It's just one teeny, tiny example of how being an English major has enriched my life.

(By the way, my boss didn't give me any of the cash he won, but he did buy me lunch that day. And oh, the bragging rights . . . .)

I'm not crazy about this list. There is an "AP English," Anglo-American feel to it -- it's heavy on the Fitzgerald, for example. However, lists like this are a useful tool for filling in the gaps in my education on classic novels and cracking some books I wouldn't otherwise read, along the way.

Green means I'll be reading it someday but am confident I don't need to grab it when I see it -- these books will be around for a long time, I'm sure. Blue means it's waiting patiently on the TBR shelf. Updates to follow!
