Yoga in the Gardens

Is this a great location for a yoga class, or what?

I got there early so I could take a few pictures.

What doesn't show in the pictures? The soft breeze, the songs of the cardinals, doves, and mockingbirds, the tap-tap-tap of a woodpecker somewhere nearby.

My tree pose is not nearly this steady.

But when it comes to savasana, the pose of total relaxation, with this view overhead . . . I'm all over it.

  1. THAT is your garden? Can I come over some day and just sit around in your garden? You don't have to talk to me or anything...I'll just lie around for a little while, m'kay? That is water in the background, isn't it????

  2. Oh, I wish! :-) A 2-story home from the 1880's on 50 landscaped acres is my idea of heaven on earth.

It used to be a private home but it's a public garden now. In the background is one of the many beautiful lakes we have in Orlando. Come visit anytime!

  3. Be careful...I love Florida, we've spent a whole bunch of time there on the boat. Friends near Okachobee, killer pickles in Saint Augustine, Cuban food in Miami beach...oh my...the coldest I have been in a long long long time in West Palm.....
