A Dream Realized

I've always wanted to do this, so as I started unpacking the book boxes, I figured:  Why not?  I have to tote and organize everything anyway . . . .

Thanks, Jenny, for the extra push!

(Please ignore the top of the shelves -- still a work in progress!)

I have never seen color-blocked books before. I love it!

What! You really did that! It looks totally amazing. If I had enough shelves of the correct size to accommodate my books in this way, I would do it tomorrow. It looks so great.

Love these shelves. Wish I had a bigger book-rack too.

Where are you nowadays? Long time no hear. Still settling down?

Have a very happy new year.

I loved doing this and the way it looked, but it was so darn hard to find things, I knew almost immediately it wouldn't last.

I've been taking a break from blogging (obviously) but will be posting again, starting tomorrow.

Happy new year to you also!
